In this post, I would like to share news from Royal Caribbean International.

Royal Caribbean International announced plans for a $150 million investment to enhance CocoCay, which will include the construction of a pier and significant improvements to the overall guest experience.

When will the planned enhancements of CocoCay begin?

CocoCay improvements will begin in March 2017.

What will the enhancements include?

CocoCay enhancements will be rolled-out in phases, beginning with the construction of a new pier. Details about the new guest features and enhanced amenities will be revealed soon.

How will my travel plans be affected?

As the initial phase of enhancements is focused around pier construction, current CocoCay amenities and experiences will not be affected. While you may see and hear construction, the disruption to their perfect beach day should be minimal.

What does the construction of a pier mean to guests?

Once complete, the new CocoCay pier will allow for larger ships to visit the island, offering more Royal Caribbean guests the chance to enjoy our private destination. The pier will also eliminate the need to tender into the island, minimizing the chance of missing this wonderful port of call due to adverse weather conditions.
